Features
Manufactured according to ASTM D 2162 to ensure standardization
2. Fully traceable to national standards to ensure accuracy
3. Compatible with a variety of test equipment, including viscosity cups, Specific Gravity Cups and Viscometers
Dual UKAS certification according to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34
5. Provide accurate viscosity calibrated values at 20 ° C and 25 ° C
Principle
Viscosity calibrating oils are manufactured according to ASTM D 2162 and calibrate viscosity measurement devices by supplying liquids of known viscosity. They utilize specific viscosity values at different temperatures, such as 20 ° C and 25 ° C, as reference standards to ensure the accuracy of device measurements.
Applications
Viscosity cup calibrated, Specific Gravity Cup calibrated, Viscometer calibrated
Standards
ASTM D 2162, BS EN ISO/IEC 17025, ISO Guide 34
Steps
1. Prepare the viscosity cup, Specific Gravity Cup or Viscometer to be calibrated
2. Pour the viscosity calibrated oil into the equipment
3. Perform measurements at specified temperatures (e.g. 20 ° C or 25 ° C)
4. Measured values compared to known viscosity values of calibrated oils
5. Adjust the equipment to ensure accuracy
Notice
• Make sure the equipment is clean before use to avoid contaminating the calibrated oil
Maintain temperature stability during calibrating for accurate results
• Avoid high temperature or direct sunlight when storing to prevent viscosity changes
• For calibrating purposes only, not for Miscellaneous use
