1. Manufactured according to ASTM D 2162, ensuring manufacturing method standards.
2. Fully traceable to national standards to ensure accuracy.
3. Compatible with a variety of test equipment, including viscosity cup, Specific Gravity Cup and Viscometer;
Dual UKAS certification in accordance with BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.
5. Provide accurate viscosity calibrated values, such as rotor calibrated viscosity of 136.4 mPa · s at 20 ° C and 101.1 mPa · s at 25 ° C.
Principle
Viscosity calibrating oil is used to calibrate viscosity testing equipment by providing standardized viscosity values. It is manufactured based on ASTM D 2162 methods to ensure consistent viscosity data at different temperatures, such as 20 ° C and 25 ° C, helping users verify the accuracy of the equipment.
Applications
Viscosity cup calibrated, Specific Gravity Cup calibrated, Viscometer calibrated
Standards
ASTM D 2162, BS EN ISO/IEC 17025, ISO Guide 34
Steps
1. Prepare viscosity calibrating oil and equipment to be calibrated;
2. Select the appropriate calibration method according to the equipment type (such as viscosity cup, Specific Gravity Cup or Viscometer);
3. Test with calibrated oil at specified temperature (e.g. 20 ° C or 25 ° C);
4. Compare test results with standard viscosity values (e.g. 136.4 mPa · s at 20 ° C).
5. Adjust the equipment to ensure accurate readings.
Notice
• Make sure the calibrated oil is at the specified temperature before use;
• Avoid contaminating calibrated oil so as not to affect accuracy;
• For calibrating purposes only, not for Miscellaneous use;
• Keep it sealed during storage to prevent volatilization or deterioration.
