Principle
The Glossiness Meter works on the principle of mirror reflection. Standard light source and specified incident angle (60 °) are used to illuminate the measured surface. Glossiness is calculated by measuring the luminous flux in the mirror reflection direction and comparing it with the reflected luminous flux of black Glass with a refractive index of 1.567 under the same conditions.
