Overview
The QIWEI BSD-50 Portable Colorimeter is calibrated with platinum-cobalt chroma standard solution, and "degree" is used as the unit of colorimeter. The instrument can be widely used in the determination of chroma in power plants, pure water plants, water plants, domestic sewage treatment plants, beverage plants, environmental protection departments, industrial water, wine industries, etc., to help meet the specified water quality standards.

Principle
The instrument works on the platinum-cobalt standard Colorimetry principle. Colorimetric measurement of the chromatic value of the water sample to be tested with the platinum-cobalt chroma standard solution is performed, and the chromatic value of the water sample is displayed in "degrees".

Platinum-Cobalt Colorimetry
Steps
1. Ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally on a stable test bench, avoiding direct Illuminants.
Connect the AC 220V 50Hz power supply.
3. Use platinum-cobalt chroma standard solution for calibration according to the instrument instructions.
4. Put the water sample to be tested into the instrument for Colorimetric measurement.
5. Read and record the displayed chromatic value.
Notice
• Ambient Temperature should be between 5~ 35 ℃, storage temperature -20~ 55 ℃.
• Environmental humidity should not exceed 80% RH.
• The instrument should use an AC 220V 50Hz power supply.
• Instrument should be placed horizontally, effectively avoid direct Illuminant, and no strong magnetic interference and strong vibration source.
• There should be no obvious dust and corrosion gas in the surrounding air.
• The instrument has zero drift, with a range of +/- 1 degrees.
