Overview
XK97-A Colony counter is a digital semi-automatic bacteria detector of QIWEI brand. It is composed of a counter, a Probe and a counter pool. It is designed and manufactured with CMOS integrated circuit. In the black background counting slot, an energy-saving ring fluorescent lamp is used to illuminate the side to make the colony display clear. The instrument can reduce the labor intensity of the experimenter and improve the work efficiency and mass. When the number of colonies exceeds 300, it is recommended to dilute the sample to ensure the accuracy of counting.
Features
1. Design and Manufacture CMOS Integrated Circuits to Ensure Stability and Reliability
2. Equipped with energy-saving circular fluorescent lamp side lighting, the colony display is clear
3. Three-digit display to visually display the number of colonies
4. Semi-automatic counting function to improve work efficiency
5. Compact structure, easy operation, reducing the labor intensity of experimenters
Principle
The instrument counts the colonies one by one at the bottom of the culture dish through Probe. When each point counts, the probe emits a prompt tone to indicate the valid count. At the same time, the point colony is chromadizing and the number is automatically increased. After the count is completed, the display screen shows Total Bacterial Count, and the instrument can be reset to enter the initial state.
Applications
Detection of bacteria in food, beverages, medicines, biological products, hygiene products, drinking water, industrial wastewater, and clinical specimens. Applicable to health and epidemic prevention stations, environment monitoring stations, food hygiene supervision and inspection stations, biological products laboratories, drug testing stations, food factories, daily chemical factories, universities, and scientific research institutes.
Steps
1. Turn on the power supply and turn on the counting pool light.
2. Insert the Probe plug into the instrument socket and press
3. Press the reset button to set the instrument to zero
4. Put in culture dishes for testing
5. Count colonies one by one at the bottom of the culture dish with a probe pen, and hear a prompt tone at each point to indicate a valid count
6. Carefully check the magnifying glass to ensure no omissions
7. Record the number of colonies on the display
8. Remove the culture dish and press the reset button to make the screen enter the initial state
Notice
• The instrument should be placed on a flat and sturdy surface for use
• Do not tilt the Probe too much when counting colonies, press lightly until there is a bounce feeling and enter the number
• The instrument should be moisture-proof, shockproof, avoid direct sunlight, prevent acid and alkali erosion, and add a dust cover after use
• Take care to prevent bacteria from fostering contamination of the counting tank
• Neither the instrument nor the Probe can be disassembled at will. If a fault is found, an experienced technician should be asked to repair it.
