Overview
The EVERFINE DCA-310 Display Color Analyzer is a precision measuring instrument using a three-color photodetector with high stability and a strict matching of Light spectrum Response to the CIE1931 standard. It can measure luminance, chromaticity coordinates, tristimulus values, color temperature and flicker by point. It has a wide luminance measurement range and can still be quickly measured at low luminance. It is suitable for High Accuracy fast measurement of luminance and luminance contrast ratio. The instrument supports multi-detector networking, which can evaluate the white equilibrate error of the display product and realize the uniformity measurement of luminance and chroma.

Using high stability, Light spectrum Response Linear dispersion and CIE1931 standard strictly match the three-color photoelectric detection components, point measurement luminance, chromaticity coordinates, tristimulus values, color temperature and flicker.

Principle
The instrument is based on a highly stable, three-color photodetector that precisely matches the CIE1931 standard for Light spectrum Response. The detector receives light signals from display devices, converts them into electrical signals, and analyzes them point by point through an internal processing system to calculate parameters such as luminance, chromaticity coordinates, tristimulus values, color temperature, and flicker. Its wide dynamic range and fast sampling capabilities ensure accurate measurement from low to high luminance and instantaneous characteristics.
Applications
Display product luminance and chroma measurement, luminance contrast ratio measurement, white equilibrating error evaluation, luminance/chroma uniformity measurement, scintillation measurement, preheating and rise time and other instantaneous characteristic measurement
Steps
1. Connect the detector to the host.
2. Aim the detector at the measurement point of the product to be tested.
3. Start the measurement software and select the corresponding measurement mode (such as luminance, chroma, flicker, etc.).
4. Start the measurement, the instrument will automatically collect and analyze the data.
5. Read and record measurement results (such as luminance value, chromaticity coordinates, color temperature, etc.).
6. If uniformity measurement is required, multiple detectors can be networked, and multi-point synchronous measurement can be carried out according to the software guidelines.
Notice
• Ensure that the detector lens is clean to avoid contamination affecting the measurement accuracy.
• During measurement, the detector needs to be stably aligned and close to the measured point to avoid environment stray light interference.
• Select the appropriate measurement mode and parameter settings according to the measurement requirements.
• When performing multi-Probe networking measurement, ensure that each Probe model is consistent and correctly calibrated.
• Instruments should be stored in a drying, dust-free environment.
