Overview
The EVERFINE CX-3B imagery luminance meter is a precision measuring instrument for the accurate and convenient analysis of luminance/chroma uniformity. High Accuracy, Dynamic Range and stability make it suitable for a wide range of measurement scenarios from the laboratory to the field, and provides powerful software capabilities to meet the professional needs of different industries.
Features
1. High Accuracy Optical inspection system, V (lambda) matching can reach the national standard level or the first level.
High dynamic range imagery (HDR) is used to accurately measure objects with large luminance differences, with a maximum measurement range of 0.001 to 200,000 cd/m ² (depending on the indent).
3. Some models use professional TE refrigeration and temperature control technology to achieve higher stability and repeatability.
4. Equipped with a large aperture/high image quality international good objective lens, it can realize measurement from macro to infinity.
5. Flexible power supply (AC grid or external DC 5V) and USB interface, suitable for laboratory and field measurement.
6. The software is powerful and provides professional analysis capabilities for different industries and application objects.
Principle
The imagery luminance meter collects the image of the measured target through the High Accuracy Optical inspection lens, uses high dynamic range imagery technology (HDR) to process the scene with large luminance difference, and analyzes the image through built-in or external software, calculates the single point, multi-point, regional average value, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and other luminance parameters, and generates luminance color maps, etc., so as to realize the uniformity analysis of luminance and chroma.
Applications
LED, LED display, LCD screen, plasma screen, projector, OLED, backlight, indicator light, instrument panel, landscape lighting, traffic lights, car lights, bioluminescent, etc. Luminance testing
Standards
CIE 88-2004 "Guide to lighting design of tunnels and underground passages", GB/T5700 "lighting measurement method"
Steps
1. Connect the host, AC adapter (or use an external DC 5V power supply) and USB data cable.
2. Select the appropriate lens (such as a normal lens or a wide-angle lens) according to the size of the test object and install it.
3. Align the instrument to the target to be measured and adjust the focus and position.
4. Start the supporting software and select the single or multiple exposure measurement mode as needed.
5. Set the measurement parameters in the software (such as selecting single point, multi-point or regional analysis).
6. Perform the measurement, the software will automatically analyze and display the results of luminance, chroma uniformity, etc.
7. Use professional analysis tools such as sub-BIN function and generated luminance color map according to requirements.
Notice
* Before measurement, please confirm whether the instrument range is suitable according to the luminance range of the test object, and choose an attenuator if necessary.
* During field measurements, it is recommended to use an optional tripod and a dedicated cable for outdoor work to ensure stability and convenience.
* When choosing a lens, consider the size of the test object and the measurement distance.
* The repeability of the instrument is 0.8% or 0.5%, and the linearity is +/- 3%. The specific performance depends on the model specification.
* Semiconductor refrigeration technology is a function of some models, please pay attention when purchasing.
Make sure the supply voltage is DC 5V and use a standard or qualified Power Adapter.
