Overview
The EVERFINE BM-9 color luminance meter is an instrument that uses the color filter method to fit the Spectral Curve for measurement. It can perform point measurement on distant objects or Illuminants through a high-quality telescopic objective, and obtain parameters such as luminance, chromaticity coordinates, color temperature, and color difference. It should be noted that the color filter method has Light spectrum mismatch errors, which may affect the measurement accuracy of luminance and Color.
Features
1. Comprehensive measurement function, can measure luminance, chromaticity coordinates, color temperature, tristimulus values, color difference.
2. The luminance accuracy level is one, and the measurement range is wide, from 0.01cd/m ² to 320,000cd/m ².
3. The allowable error of luminance measurement is better than the requirements of the national Measurement verification regulations, which is +/- 5% reading + 1 word.
4. Equipped with standard lens, focal length 85mm, measurement distance from 0.4 meters to infinity.
5. Provide battery and AC 220V adapter two power supply methods, flexible use.
Principle
Optical inspection and chroma parameters such as luminance, chromaticity coordinates, color temperature, tristimulus values and color difference are calculated by fitting the Spectral Curve using a built-in color filter system.
Applications
Indicator, instrument panel, landscape lighting, road and bridge engineering, traffic lights, car lights, large LED display, large LCD screen, plasma screen, projector, OLED, backlight
Steps
1. Select the appropriate power supply method (battery or AC adapter) according to the measurement needs.
2. Aim at the target to be measured through the telescopic objective of the instrument.
3. Adjust the measurement distance (0.4m to infinity) and field of view to ensure that the target is within the measurement field of view.
4. Trigger measurement, the instrument will automatically calculate and display luminance, chromaticity coordinates, color temperature, tristimulus values, color difference and other results.
Notice
• The instrument uses the color filter method, there is a Light spectrum mismatch error, which may affect the test accuracy of luminance and Color, so pay attention when using it.
• When measuring, ensure that the target is within the measurement field of view (1 °), for example, at 0.4 meters, the target with a diameter of about 5.6 mm can be measured.
Measurement procedures (e.g. JJG211-2005) are recommended before use to properly assess measurement errors.
• Pay attention to the power supply method of the instrument to ensure that the battery is sufficient or the adapter connection is stable.
