Overview
Light Intensity Detector (luminance function) is mainly used for accurate measurement and control of all-weather luminance in highways, tunnels, squares, venues, residential areas, industrial sites, outdoor, underwater and other places. The light intensity Detector shell is made of polymer material, stainless steel and Glass, fully sealed, with good waterproof, dustproof and anti-corrosion performance, suitable for harsh working environments such as outdoor areas. It can meet the interface requirements of various industrial Instruments, especially suitable for multi-point and comprehensive measurement configuration.
Features
1. Full sealing design, IP65 Protection Rating, waterproof, dustproof, anti-corrosion, can work all day.
2. The shell is made of polymer material, stainless steel and Glass, which is sturdy and durable.
3. Provide outdoor and indoor measurement ranges to adapt to different application scenarios.
4. Support current (DC 4~ 20mA) and voltage (DC 0~ 5V) two signal output, strong compatibility.
5. Intrinsically safe explosion-proof design, suitable for specific safety requirements.
6. Wide range power supply (AC 100V~ 240V, DC 24V), strong adaptability.
7. Especially suitable for multi-point, comprehensive measurement configuration.
Principle
The Light Intensity Detector receives optical signals within specific Measurement Angles (typically 30 ° vertical, 40 ° horizontal) through its Optical inspection Sensor and converts them into electrical signals. Depending on the model, this electrical signal is processed into a standardized current (DC 4~ 20mA) or voltage (DC 0~ 5V) signal output for subsequent Instrument or control system reading and processing, resulting in accurate measurement of luminance.
Applications
Highways, tunnels, squares, venues, residential areas, industrial sites, outdoor, underwater
Standards
IP65 Protection Rating, Intrinsically Safe Explosion Standard
Steps
1. Select the outdoor or indoor Detector according to the application scenario.
2. Install the Detector at the target measurement location to ensure that its Measurement Angles cover the required area.
3. Connect the power supply (AC 100V to 240V or DC 24V).
4. According to the back-end device interface requirements, connect the corresponding signal output line (4~ 20mA current output or 0~ 5V voltage output).
Make sure that the load resistance is within the allowable range (250 ohms to 800 ohms).
6. The system is powered on, the Detector starts working and makes luminance measurements.
Notice
• Please select the appropriate model according to the measurement environment (indoor/outdoor) to ensure that the measurement range meets the requirements.
• When installing, please note that its conventional Measurement Angles are 30 ° vertical and 40 ° horizontal, and need to be aligned with the area to be tested.
When connecting the signal line, confirm the input interface type (current or voltage) of the back-end device and match the corresponding output mode.
• Current output type requires attention that the load resistance should be within the range of 250Ω to 800Ω.
The power supply must be within the specified range of AC 100V to 240V or DC 24V.
• Although the product has IP65 Protection Rating, it is still necessary to ensure that the sealing interface is tight during installation to maintain its waterproof, dustproof and anti-corrosion performance.
• When using in places with explosion-proof requirements, it is necessary to confirm that its "intrinsically safe" explosion-proof type meets the on-site safety specifications.
