Overview
This bar Automatic Film Applicator is a small laboratory Automatic Film Applicator specially designed for liquid foundation testing, mainly used to test the hiding power and concealer of liquid foundations. The device adopts the bar coating method, standard High Accuracy bar and Opacity Chart, can be controlled by Touchscreen, can freely adjust the scraping speed and length, and has a high flatness Glass baseplate and mechanical fixture to quickly fix the film cardboard.

Principle
Automatic film applicator adopts bar coating method. The test cardboard is fixed on the high flatness Glass baseplate by mechanical fixture, and the device drives the High Accuracy bar to move uniformly according to the set scraping speed and scraping length. Spreader the liquid foundation evenly on the surface of the cardboard to form a film of specific film thickness for subsequent testing and analysis of hiding power and concealer.

Steps
1. Use a mechanical fixture to fix the Paint Chart on the Glass baseplate.
2. Set the desired scratch speed and scratch length through Touchscreen.
3. Place the liquid foundation in the starting position in front of the bar.
4. Start the device, and bar will automatically complete the Spreader according to the set parameters.
5. After the Spreader is completed, remove the cardboard for follow-up testing.
Notice
Please ensure that the power supply of the device is 220V 50HZ before operation.
* Select the appropriate bar type according to the test requirements to determine the Spreader Film thickness.
When fixing the paper jam, make sure the fixture is stable to avoid displacement during the Spreader process.
* The coating speed can be adjusted in the range of 5~ 200mm/s, if it needs to be lower than 5mm/s, it needs to be customized.
Optional accessories such as leakage tanks are available to meet specific experimental requirements.
