Overview
TBJ-B1 Automatic Film Applicator is a small laboratory Spreader equipment specially designed for the mask field. It adopts imported accessories and is cost-effective. The equipment ensures uniform and smooth application of gel liquid and other viscous mask liquid on non-woven fabrics through precise control of Spreader speed and pressure. The effective coating area is 300 * 400mm. Mainly used to test the film formation time, toughness, adhesion, absorption and penetration of gel coatings.

Principle
The Automatic Film Applicator uses the Blade Coating method. When working, the mask gel is placed on the Spreader substrate (non-woven fabric), and the substrate is fixed by a mechanical fixture. The device drives the integrated drawdown blade to move at a set speed and pressure at a uniform speed, and the gel is evenly scraped on the surface of the non-woven fabric to form a coating of the specified Film thickness. The uniformity and conformity of the film are ensured by precisely controlling the gap between the drawdown blade and the substrate (Spreader Film thickness) and the traverse speed of the drawdown blade.

Steps
1. Prepare the non-woven fabric substrate and mask gel.
2. Fix the non-woven fabric on the coating table (Glass plate) with a mechanical fixture.
3. Place an appropriate amount of gel solution on the non-woven fabric.
4. Set the desired Spreader Film thickness and coating speed through Touchscreen.
5. Start the device, the drawdown blade will automatically perform Spreader operation.
6. After the Spreader is completed, remove the sample for follow-up performance testing (such as film formation time, toughness, etc.).
Notice
* Spreader before ensuring that the non-woven substrate flat fixed to prevent uneven film.
* According to the viscosity characteristics of the gel solution, set the Spreader Film thickness and speed parameters reasonably.
During the operation of the equipment, do not touch moving parts.
* Regularly clean the drawdown blade and coating table to keep the equipment clean.
* Optional accessories such as leakage tank, fixing fixture, etc. can be configured and used according to actual needs.
* If you need Spreader Film thickness less than 5mm/s or custom Miscellaneous function, you need to communicate with the supplier in advance.
