Overview
XP6 small aperture Portable Glossiness Meter is an ultra-high accuracy gloss measurement instrument of JND brand. It is designed and manufactured with reference to international standard ISO 2813 and Chinese national standards GB/T13891, GB9754, GB7706, GB8807. Its technical parameters comply with ASTM D2457, ASTM D523 standards, and use small Measuring Area and window. It is suitable for small plane gloss measurement. The performance indicators meet the requirements of the national standard JJG 696-2002 first-class working machine. Traceability of Gloss value comes from Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology (SIMT).

Principle
The XP6 Glossiness Meter is based on the principle of Optical inspection reflection and evaluates the Gloss performance of materials by measuring the Glossiness value of the reflected light on the surface. The instrument adopts a tiny Measuring Area and window design, combined with an intelligent error compensation device to ensure the accuracy and Stability of the measurement data. It is suitable for gloss measurement of various Non-metallic surfaces.

Steps
1. Start self-calibrating.
2. Align the probe with the surface of the object to be tested.
3. Press the measurement button for measurement.
4. Read and record measurement data.
Notice
• Operating temperature range is 15~ 40 ℃, storage temperature is -10 ℃~ 60 ℃.
• The relative humidity should be less than 85% without condensation.
• Make sure the instrument is fully charged before use.
• Avoid scratching the surface of the test object with the probe during measurement.
• Regularly calibrate instruments to maintain Measurement accuracy.
