Overview
ERICHSEN 243/II-4mm viscosity cup is a precision instrument for simple and fast measurement of fluid viscosity in laboratories and production. It calculates viscosity by measuring the time the fluid flows out of the viscosity cup nozzle. It is suitable for low viscosity liquids and has High Accuracy for liquids that comply with Newton's laws, but is not suitable for high viscosity substances such as pastes and pastes.
Features
1. The aluminum cup body treated with anodic oxidation ensures durability and stability.
2. The nozzle is made of stainless steel, corrosion resistant and high accuracy.
3. The design includes an upper cup cavity and a bottom nozzle, allowing excess fluid to flow into the collection tank.
4. Suitable for low viscosity liquid measurement, easy and fast operation.
Principle
Viscosity cup calculates viscosity based on the time (in seconds) for a precisely controlled volume of fluid to flow out of the viscosity cup nozzle. Fluid viscosity is determined by measuring the time from the nozzle to the first interruption, combined with standard parameters.
Applications
Laboratory, production site
Standards
DIN 53 211、SNV 37 110、SIS 184 115
Steps
1. Adjust the level with a level.
2. Place the viscosity cup on the test rack or in the thermostatic pool.
Step 3 Close the mouthpiece.
4. Fill with fluid.
5. Scrape the glass plate along the edge of the viscosity cup, scrape off the excess fluid, and cover the Glass plate on the viscosity cup.
6. Open the nozzle.
7. Glass plate drawn along the horizontal, while the stopwatch.
8. When the fluid stops flowing for the first time, stop the stopwatch and record the time.
Notice
• The viscosity cup is only within the specified range and calibrated according to the specified time.
• Not suitable for high viscosity substances such as pastes, pastes, etc.
• When operating, ensure that it is placed horizontally and use a Glass plate to scrape the fluid surface.
