Overview
PUSHEN GJ-2 (3.0-3 mm) ground Glass bead is a colorless transparent sphere made of Sodium Calcium Glass or Borosilicate Glass, which has the characteristics of smooth surface, uniform size, high Hardness, wear resistance and good chemical Stability. It is widely used as a dispersant, grinding medium and filling material in dyestuff, paints, inks, chemical industries, etc. It is also suitable for grinding of medium and low viscosity materials or as a shot peening bead.
Features
1. Appearance smooth and round, colorless and transparent, no obvious bubbles or impurities.
2. High rounding rate, rounding rate ≥ 80%.
3. Hardness, Mohs Hardness 6-7, microhardness ≥ 680kg/mm ².
4. Wear resistance, high compressire strength, > 1200N.
5. Good Chemical Stability, PH value of 7.2.
6. Moderate density, density 2.4-2 g/cm ³, false specific gravity 1.5g/cm ³.
7. The refractive index Nd ≥ 1.50.
Principle
Grinding Glass beads are used as grinding media to mix with materials in grinding equipment (such as sand mills). Under high-speed stirring or movement, collision and shear forces are generated between Glass beads and between Glass beads and the inner wall of the equipment, so that the particles in the material are crushed, dispersed and mixed to achieve the purpose of refining particles and uniform dispersion.
Applications
Dyestuff, paints, inks, chemical industry
Steps
1. According to the material viscosity and grinding requirements, choose the appropriate grinding equipment (such as sand mill).
2. Add an appropriate amount of ground Glass beads to the grinding cavity.
3. Add the material to be ground.
4. Start the equipment and set the appropriate Rotation speed and grinding time according to the process requirements.
5. Glass beads and finished materials are separated after grinding.
6. Wash and recycle Glass Beads for next use.
Notice
• Before use, check whether the Glass Bead specifications match the equipment and process requirements.
• Avoid use under extreme conditions beyond its compressire strength and chemical stability.
• Pay attention to the running state of the equipment during the grinding process to prevent damage to the equipment due to excessive filling or improper Rotation speed.
• After use, it should be cleaned and stored properly to maintain its performance and extend its service life.
• Follow the safety operating procedures of the relevant equipment when operating.
