Overview
This machine is AISRY brand LX-5612 Taber Wear resistance tester, which is suitable for wear resistance performance testing of leather, fabric, paint, paper, floor tiles, plywood, Glass, natural rubber and other materials. The test method is to use a standard cutter to cut the specimen, and to perform abrasion under the condition of applying a certain load through the specified type of abrasive wheels. After reaching the specified number of revolutions, the abrasion resistance is evaluated by observing the abrasion status of the specimen or calculating the weight difference before and after the test, and the abrasion index can be calculated.

Principle
The machine drives the test disc swirl/spin by motor to fix the standard cut specimen on the disc. The specified type of abrasive wheels are installed above the specimen and the specified load is applied. The abrasive wheels rub and abrasion on the surface of the swirl/spin specimen, and the counter records the number of swirl/spins. After the preset number of revolutions is reached, the wear resistance of the material is evaluated by comparing the physical state of the specimen before and after the test (such as abrasion topography or weight loss), and the abrasion index can be calculated according to the formula (abrasion loss weight/test number of revolutions × 1000).

Steps
1. Use a standard cutter to cut the test piece that meets the specifications (outer diameter 100mm, inner diameter 8mm, thickness 3mm).
2. Select and install the corresponding abrasive wheels model (such as CS17, H18, etc.) according to the test material.
3. Fix the test piece on the test plate.
4. Apply the specified load (250g, 500g or 1000g) to the abrasive wheels.
5. Set the counter to the preset number of test turns.
6. Start the machine, the test disc according to the set Rotation speed (such as 60 or 70 rpm) swirl/spin abrasion test.
7. After reaching the preset number of revolutions, the machine automatically stops.
8. Take out the specimen, observe its abrasion condition or weigh the weight difference.

• Please choose the corresponding abrasive wheels model (such as CS17, CS32, CS33, H18, H22) according to the type of material tested (such as paint, plywood, plastic).
• Ensure that the size of the test piece meets the specifications.
• Power supply voltage AC220V 50HZ before operation.
• When testing, please select the appropriate load and Rotation speed according to the standard or test requirements.
