FA224 Electronic Analytical Balance is a High Accuracy weighing device under the LICHEN brand. It adopts High Accuracy electromagnetic equilibrate Sensor to ensure Stability and Reliability. It is equipped with a large-size LCD screen with clear display and is suitable for various environments. The Balance has functions such as automatic fault detection, overload protection, unit conversion, percentage, hereinafter referred to as, and built-in RS232C interface, which can be connected to computers, printers and other peripheral devices, which is convenient for data recording and processing. It is widely used in scientific research, education, metallurgy and other industries.

Principle
The FA224 Electronic Analytical Balance is based on the High Accuracy Electromagnetic Equilibrated Sensor. When an object is placed on a pan, the Sensor generates an electrical signal proportional to the object's gravity. After amplification and analog-to-digital conversion, the signal is processed by a microprocessor, and finally the exact mass value is displayed on the LCD screen.

Steps
1. Place the Balance on a stable, horizontal countertop to avoid vibration and airflow interference.
2. Turn on the power supply (AC220V 50Hz or DC5V 2.5A), and Balance will perform self-test.
3. Balance to stability (Stabilization time ≤ 4s).
4. Before use, make sure the pan is clean and empty, and press the "Tare" button to peel and return to zero.
5. Place the object to be weighed gently in the center of the pan for weighing.
6. Read the stable value displayed on the LCD screen and switch the unit (g/ct/oz/mg) as needed.
7. After weighing, remove the object, clean the pan, and turn off the power.
Notice
• Please place the Balance on a stable, vibration-free water platform without strong airflow interference.
• Avoid use in environments with direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity or corrosion gases.
• Preheating and zeroing operations must be performed before weighing objects to ensure measurement accuracy.
• The weighing object shall not exceed the Balance Capacity Range (220g), and overloading is strictly prohibited.
• When placing or removing the weighing object, the action should be gentle to avoid Impact pan.
• Keep the pan clean to prevent sample residue from affecting measurement results.
• Regularly calibrate with standard weight (the FA224 model supports external weight calibrating).
When connecting external devices (e.g. computers, printers), make sure to use the correct RS232C interface and Communication protocol.
• On clean days, please use a soft dry cloth and avoid using any chemical solvents.
