Overview
TS20002 Hydrostatic Balance is an Electronic Balance composed of a strain sensor and a microcomputer. It is mainly composed of Electronic Balance and a hydrostatic device. It has the characteristics of rapid weighing and high Stability. It adopts STN LCD/LED display, which is simple and convenient to operate. This product is mainly used for density and volume testing of solid samples, and can be weighed up and down. It is suitable for highways, transportation, road construction projects, Universities & colleges and laboratories, etc., to test gravel and pebble density.
Features
1. High-definition LCD screen, clear display.
2. Built-in rechargeable battery.
3. With RS232 interface, it can be connected to computers, printers and other equipment.
4. Precision casting aluminum alloy water purification frame, corrosion resistance.
Principle
Hydrostatic Balance is based on the combination of strain sensor and microcomputer technology. Electronic Balance and hydrostatic device are used to calculate the density and volume of the sample by measuring the weight difference of the solid sample in air neutralized in water.
Applications
Highways, Transportation, Roadworks, Universities & colleges, Laboratories
Steps
1. Place the Balance on a smooth workbench to ensure level.
2. Connect the power supply or use the built-in battery, turn on Balance and warm up.
3. Place the solid sample to be tested on the pan and record its weight in air.
4. Install the hydrostatic device and inject an appropriate amount of water into the tank.
5. Hang the sample with a thin wire, immerse it in water (make sure it does not touch the wall and bottom of the container), and record its weight in water.
6. Based on the two weighing results, the density and volume of the sample are obtained by built-in calculation function or manual calculation.
7. After the test is completed, close the Balance and clean the sample and device.
Notice
• Before use, make sure the Balance is placed on a horizontal, stable, vibration-free countertop.
• Avoid use in environments with direct sunlight, strong airflow or severe temperature fluctuations.
• When weighing the sample, make sure the sample is clean, drying, and the temperature is consistent with Ambient Temperature.
• When performing underwater weighing, ensure that the sample is completely submerged and does not touch the container, and the thin line should be as thin as possible to reduce errors.
• Regularly clean the pan and hydrostatic device to prevent corrosion and pollution from affecting the accuracy.
• Do not exceed Balanced Capacity (2000g).
• When not in use for a long time, please charge the built-in battery regularly to keep the battery active.
When connecting external devices (e.g. computers, printers), ensure that the interfaces match and operate correctly.
