Overview
LICHEN LC-MDJ-300A Solid Density Meter is a direct reading density measuring instrument designed based on the principle of Archimedes water displacement method. It can directly measure and read the average weight in air, average weight in water, density value and volume of solid, granular, thin film, floating, powder and other samples. It is suitable for rubber, plastic, Wire and cable, food, composite, Glass, precious metal Hardware recycling and other industries.

Principle
The Density Meter is measured using the Archimedes method of water displacement. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and the weight of the sample completely immersed in a liquid of known density (usually water), the volume of the sample is calculated according to the principle of buoyancy, and then its density value is directly obtained.
