Overview
LICHEN LC-MDJ-600A Solid Density Meter is a direct reading density measuring instrument designed based on the principle of Archimedes water displacement method. It is mainly used to measure the density and volume of solid, granular, thin film, floating, powder and other samples. It can directly read the average weight of the sample in air, the average weight in water, and the density value and volume.

Principle
The Density Meter uses the principle of water displacement method of Archimedes. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and completely immersed in a liquid of known density (usually water), the volume of the sample is calculated according to the principle of buoyancy, and then its density value is directly obtained.

Steps
1. Place the sample on the measurement table, weigh it in air, and record the weight value.
2. The sample is completely immersed in the measurement tank containing the liquid and weighed in the water.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and directly displays the density value and volume of the sample according to the Archimedes principle.
Notice
• Ensure that the sample is clean and dried before measurement without bubble adhesion on the surface.
• When the sample is immersed in a liquid, it should be completely submerged and not in contact with the wall or bottom of the container.
• According to the test requirements, correctly set the temperature compensation value and density compensation value of the solution.
• Clean the measurement table and sink in time after use and keep the instrument drying.
• Regularly calibrate the instrument to ensure Measurement accuracy.
