Overview
LC-MDJ-900A Solid Density Meter is a direct reading Density Meter designed according to GB/T533, ISO2781, ASTM D297-93, DIN53479, ASTM D792, D618, D891, ISO1183, GB/T1033, ASTM D792-00, JIS K6530 and other standards using the principle of water replacement method of Archimedes. The instrument is mainly used in rubber, plastic, Wire and cable, food, composite, cosmetics, shoe material, Glass, precious metal Hardware recycling and other industries. It can directly measure the average weight of solids, granules, thin films, floating bodies, powder bodies and other samples in air, the average weight in water, and the density value and volume.
Features

Principle
The LC-MDJ-900A Solid Density Meter uses Archimedes' principle of water displacement. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and completely immersed in a liquid of known density (usually water), the volume of the sample is calculated using the principle of buoyancy, and then the density value of the sample is directly obtained.

Steps
1. Place the sample on the measurement table and measure its weight in the air.
2. The sample is completely immersed in the liquid (such as water) in the sink, and its weight in the water is measured.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and directly displays the density value and volume of the sample according to the Archimedes principle.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use.
When testing, ensure that the sample is completely submerged in the liquid and does not touch the container wall or bottom.
• According to the test requirements, set the temperature compensation and density compensation values of the solution correctly.
• Regularly clean and maintain the measurement table and sink to avoid residues affecting the Measurement accuracy.
• For Water Absorbency or Water Soluble Samples, appropriate waterproofing or Miscellaneous liquids should be used to dissolve the sample.
• When using the built-in battery, please pay attention to charging it in time.
• Do not exceed the Capacity of the instrument (900g).
