Overview
LICHEN LC-MDJ-1200A Solid Density Meter is a direct reading density measuring instrument based on the principle of Archimedes substitution method in water. It can directly measure and display the average weight in air, average weight in water, density value and volume of solid, particle, film, float, powder and other samples. It is suitable for rubber, plastic, Wire and cable, food, composite, cosmetics, shoe material, Glass, precious metal Hardware recycling and other industries.

1. Directly read the density and volume of any solid block, particle, floating body with a density > 1 or < 1.
2. With temperature compensation setting and solution compensation setting functions, the operation is more user-friendly and more in line with the needs of on-site operations.

Principle
The Density Meter uses the principle of water displacement by Archimedes. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and completely immersed in a liquid of known density (usually water), the volume of the sample is calculated according to the principle of buoyancy, and then the density value of the sample is directly obtained.

Steps
1. Place the sample on the measurement table and measure its weight in the air.
2. The sample is completely immersed in the measurement tank containing the liquid, and its weight in the water is measured.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and directly displays the density value and volume of the sample according to the Archimedes principle.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use.
• According to the test requirements, set the solution temperature and solution compensation value correctly.
• Make sure the sample is completely submerged and does not touch the container wall or bottom during testing.
• Regularly clean the measurement sink and railing to prevent residues from affecting the Measurement accuracy.
Do not use in environments with strong electromagnetic interference or severe vibration.
• The built-in battery needs to be charged regularly to maintain performance.
• The liquid density and concentration test can be carried out after the optional liquid accessories.
