Overview
LICHEN LC-MDJ-300S Solid Density Meter is a direct reading density measuring instrument. It adopts the principle of Archimedes' water displacement method to directly measure and read the average weight in air, average weight in water, density value and volume of solid, granular, thin film, floating, powder and other samples. This machine is suitable for quality control and material analysis in various industries.

1. Directly read the density and volume of any solid block, particle, floating body with a density > 1 or < 1.

Principle
The Density Meter works on the principle of Aquimide's water displacement method. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and completely submerged in a liquid of known density (usually water), the volume of the sample is calculated using the principle of buoyancy, and its density value is directly derived.

Steps
1. Place the sample on the measurement table and measure its weight in the air.
2. Immerse the sample completely in the liquid in the water tank and measure its weight in the water.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and directly displays the density value and volume of the sample according to the measured data.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use.
When testing, ensure that the sample is completely submerged and does not touch the container wall or bottom.
• Correctly set the temperature and density compensation value of the solution according to the test requirements.
• Regularly clean the sink and measurement table to avoid residues affecting Measurement accuracy.
• For Water Absorbency or Water Soluble Samples, appropriate waterproofing or Miscellaneous liquids should be used to dissolve the sample.
Do not exceed the maximum weighing range of the instrument (300g).
• The built-in battery needs to be charged regularly to ensure the battery life for on-site use.
