Overview
LC-MDJ-600S Solid Density Meter is a direct reading density measuring instrument of LICHEN brand, using the principle of water displacement method of Archimedes. The instrument can directly measure and read the average weight of solids, particles, films, floats, powders and other samples in air, average weight in water, density value and volume.

Principle
The Density Meter works on the Archimedes principle of water displacement. Calculate the volume of the sample by measuring its weight in air and the weight of the sample completely immersed in a liquid of known density (usually water), and then directly derive its density value.

Steps
1. Place the sample on a measurement table, weigh it in air, and record its average weight.
2. The sample is completely immersed in water (or a set solution), weighed in water, and its average weight is recorded.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and directly reads the density value and volume of the sample according to the Archimedes principle.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use.
• According to the test requirements, set the solution temperature and solution compensation value correctly.
• Ensure that the sample is completely submerged during the measurement process and does not touch the container wall or bottom.
• When testing larger block objects, be careful to use a large sink to avoid errors.
• Regularly calibrate the instrument to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• When using the built-in battery, please pay attention to charging it in time.
• After the liquid accessories are selected, the liquid density and concentration can be tested.
