Overview
LICHEN LC-XF-220SD Solid Density Meter is a direct reading density measuring instrument using the principle of water displacement method of Archimedes. The instrument can directly measure and read the average weight of solids, particles, films, floats, powders and other samples in air, average weight in water, density value and volume.

Principle
The Density Meter works on Archimedes' principle of water displacement. Calculate the volume of the sample by measuring its weight in air and its weight completely submerged in a liquid of known density (usually water), and then directly derive its density value.

Steps
1. Place the sample on the measurement table and measure its weight in the air.
2. The sample is completely immersed in the liquid of the measurement tank, and its weight in the water is measured.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and directly displays the density value and volume of the sample according to the measured data.
Notice
• Make sure the sample is clean and drying without attached bubbles before measurement.
• The sample should be completely submerged when immersed in the liquid and not in contact with the container wall.
• Correctly set the temperature and density compensation value of the solution according to the test requirements.
• Clean the measurement table and sink in time after use and keep the instrument drying.
• Measurement accuracy is regularly calibrated.
• The built-in battery needs to be charged and maintained as required.
