Overview
LICHEN LC-MH-300G Liquid Density Meter is designed according to the principle of Archimedes buoyancy method and meets many international and national standards. The instrument is mainly used for the measurement of chemical solutions, additives, suspensions, emulsions, dispersions, isomorphic solutions, mouthwashes, pharmaceuticals and other high viscosity, suspensions, emulsions, colloids density.
Features
1. Any solution can be quickly measured, and the operation is in one step, which is convenient for multiple continuous rapid tests.
2. With density upper and lower limit functions, it can determine whether the specific gravity of the object to be measured is qualified or not, and a buzzer device is provided.
3. Convenient sampling, the measured sample only needs 50CC, digital display, Measurement accuracy is high, easy to operate, stable and durable.
4. The measurement cup is easy to clean, and is not limited by the small diameter of the Specific Gravity bottle. It can be used with repeability, and disposable measurement cups can also be used.
5. With RS-232C communication interface, easy to connect PC and printer, optional XF-68 printer to print measurement data.
6. Bring your own battery with Draft Shield, which is more suitable for field testing. (Note: MH-300G models do not have Draft Shield)
Principle
The e-liquid Density Meter is based on the buoyancy method of Archimedes and uses the impregnated sphere volume displacement method for measurement. By measuring the weight difference between the object in the air and the weight difference immersed in the liquid, combined with the design of a special specific gravity meter, the density value of the liquid is accurately calculated.
Applications
Chemical solutions, additives, suspensions, emulsions, dispersions, isomorphic solutions, mouthwashes, pharmaceuticals, high viscosity liquids, colloids
Standards
GB/T21862、GB/T15223、GB/T6750、ASTMD1475、ISO2811-2、ISO1675、DIN53217-3
Steps
1. Prepare a sample of approximately 50 cc to be tested.
2. Place the sample in the measurement cup.
3. Place the measurement cup on the instrument measurement table.
4. According to the operation steps for measurement, the instrument will automatically display the density value.
5. If you need to determine whether it is qualified or not, you can set the upper and lower density limits in advance, and the buzzer will prompt after measurement.
6. After the measurement is completed, the measurement cup can be cleaned, the repeability can be used, or the disposable measurement cup can be used.
7. It can be connected to a computer or printer through the RS-232C interface for data output.
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is placed horizontally before measurement.
• Please check the battery power before use to ensure sufficient power supply.
• The sample size needs to meet the requirement of about 50CC to ensure measurement accuracy.
• After measurement of high viscosity or special samples, the measurement cup should be thoroughly cleaned in time to prevent cross-contamination or residue from affecting the next measurement.
When connecting external devices (e.g. printers), make sure the interfaces match and follow the instructions.
• Please note that the LC-MH-300G model is not equipped with Draft Shield, so you need to pay attention to wind protection when measuring in a high airflow environment.
• Do not use the instrument for measurement of samples outside their density range (0.001 to 99.999g/cm ³) or weight range (0.01 to 300g).
