Overview
The LICHEN LC-MDJ-900K Gold Purity Tester is a fast and effective gold purity analysis instrument that uses non-Destructiveness Measurement mode to quickly display purity percentage, K value and density value. The instrument has the characteristics of accurate measurement, simple operation and reliable performance. It is suitable for jewelry industry, banking, pawnshop industry and gold and precious metals research laboratory.
Features
1. Equipped with a large-screen LCD monitor.
It has an RS-232C computer interface for easy connection to the printer.
3. Built-in battery and Draft Shield, suitable for field testing.
4. Only two weighing steps are required to quickly and accurately determine the purity percentage of precious metals and the gold K number.
5. No trace after measurement, no pollution, no need to use sulfuric acid solution or test standard sample.
6. With upper and lower limit setting functions, the K number range can be freely set from 1K to 24K.
7. With mixing ratio function, it can test platinum, silver, palladium, copper, rhodium and other Miscellaneous precious metals.
8. Brazilian fire gold with a coating thickness greater than 30 μm can be determined.
9. Special software design, can cycle display gold K number (including gold copper silver, gold silver, gold copper combination) and gold purity percentage (including gold copper silver, gold silver, gold copper combination).
Principle
Based on the density Measurement principle, the instrument calculates the density of the sample by measuring the weight of the sample in air neutralizing water, combined with the Archimedes principle, and then quickly analyzes the purity percentage and K value of gold according to the known relationship between the density and purity of precious metals. The whole process does not need to destroy the sample.
Applications
Jewelry, banking, pawnshops, gold and precious metals research laboratories
Steps
1. Place the sample in air and weigh it.
2. Immerse the sample in water and weigh it.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and displays purity, K value and density value.
Notice
• Ensure the instrument is used in a stable, windless environment for optimum accuracy.
• Please confirm that the battery is fully charged or connected to a stable power supply before use.
• When weighing in water, make sure the sample is completely submerged and free of bubbles.
• Regularly clean and maintain instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
• For coating samples, confirm that the coating thickness meets the testing requirements of the instrument (e.g. > 30μm).
