Overview
Gold purity tester is a fast and effective gold purity analysis instrument. It does not damage the measurement sample and can quickly display the purity, K value and density value. It has the characteristics of accurate measurement, simple operation, fast, reliable performance and economy.
Features
1. Large-screen LCD display.
With RS-232C computer interface, it can be easily connected to the printer.
3. Built-in battery, with Draft Shield, more suitable for field testing.
4. Fast and accurate determination of precious metal purity% and gold K number: only two weighing steps are required.
5. No traces and contamination will be left after measurement, no need to use sulfuric acid solution or test standard sample.
6. With upper and lower limit functions, a wide range of K numbers from 1K to 24K can be freely set for HI and LO data.
7. With mixing ratio function, it can test other precious metals, such as platinum, silver, palladium, copper, rhodium, etc.
8. Brazilian fire gold with a coating thickness greater than 30 μm can also be easily determined.
9. Special software design, can cycle display gold K number (containing gold copper silver, gold silver, gold copper), gold purity% (containing gold copper silver, gold silver, gold copper).
Principle
The instrument quickly analyzes the purity of a sample by measuring its density using two weighing steps without destroying the sample or using a chemical Reagent.
Applications
Jewelry, banking, pawnshops, gold and precious metals research laboratories
Standards
Specification for determination method of purity of precious metals
Steps
1. Place the sample on the instrument for the first weighing (in air).
2. Place the sample in water for a second weighing (in water).
3. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the purity, K value and density value.
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the sample is clean and free of attachments.
• Draft Shield is required for measurement to reduce airflow effects.
• Make sure the built-in battery is fully charged, or use an external power supply.
• For coating samples, it is necessary to confirm that the coating thickness is greater than 30μm before accurate determination.
• Periodically calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments.
• Do not expose the instrument to corrosive gases or liquids.
