Overview
XFMD-1201B Touch Screen Solid Density Meter is a precision measuring instrument using the principle of Archimedes water displacement method. This machine is mainly used for the measurement of the density of solid, granular, thin film, floating, powder and other samples. It can directly read the average weight of the sample in air, the average weight in water, and the density value and volume.
Features
1. Operating interface with touch screen.
2. Based on the principle of aquimi's water displacement method, the measurement is accurate.
3. Can directly measure and display the weight, density and volume of various forms of samples.
4. Weighing range 0.001~ 120g, density accuracy of 0.0001g/cm ³.
Principle
This Density Meter is based on the principle of Aquimide's water displacement method. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and the weight in water respectively, the volume of the sample is calculated using the principle of buoyancy, and then the density value is obtained.
Applications
Rubber, Plastic, Wire and cable, Oil bearing, Composites, Cosmetics, Shoe Material, Glass, Precious Metal Hardware Recycling, Powder Metallurgy Material, Magnetic Material
Standards
GB/T533、ISO2781、ASTMD297-93、DIN 53479、ASTMD792、D618、D891、ISO1183、GB/T1033、ASTM D792-00、JISK6530
Steps
1. Place the sample in air for weighing and record the average weight in air.
2. Immerse the sample in water and weigh it, recording the average weight in the water.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the density value and volume of the sample according to the measurement data.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is used in a smooth, vibration-free environment.
• Before measurement, make sure the surface of the sample is clean, drying and free of bubbles.
• When immersed in water for measurement, ensure that the sample is completely immersed and not in contact with the container wall.
• Please select the appropriate model according to the weight range of the sample for measurement.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy.
