Overview
XFMD-3201B Touch Screen Solid Density Meter is a precision measuring instrument using the principle of Archimedes water displacement method. It is mainly used to measure the density of solid, granular, thin film, floating, powder and other samples. It can directly read the average weight of the sample in air, the average weight in water, and the density value and volume.

Principle
This product is based on the principle of water displacement method of Archimedes. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and the weight of the sample completely immersed in water (or Miscellaneous immersion solution), the volume of the sample is calculated using the buoyancy difference, and its density value is accurately obtained.

Steps
1. Place the sample in air and weigh it, recording the average weight in air.
2. Weigh the sample completely submerged in water and record the average weight in the water.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and directly displays the density value and volume of the sample.
Notice
Make sure the sample is clean and drying before measurement.
• Sample immersion needs to completely remove bubbles to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Select the appropriate impregnation solution (e.g. water) according to the characteristics of the sample.
• The operating environment should be kept stable to avoid vibration and airflow interference.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain instruments.
