Overview
XFMD-12001A Touch Screen Solid Density Meter is a precision measuring instrument using the principle of Archimedes substitution method in water. It is mainly used for the measurement of the density, volume and average weight in air and water of solid, granular, thin film, floating, powder and other samples. It is suitable for rubber, plastic, Wire and cable, composite and other industries.
Features
1. High Accuracy Sensor, weighing range 0.01~ 1200g, density accuracy of 0.001g/cm ³.
2. Equipped with a touch screen, the operation is intuitive and convenient, and the measurement results can be directly read.
3. Application of Archimedes water displacement method, accurate and reliable measurement.
4. Suitable for a variety of samples, such as solids, particles, powders, floats, etc.
Principle
The Density Meter is based on the Archimedes method of water displacement. By measuring the weight of the sample in air and the weight of the sample completely immersed in water (or Miscellaneous immersion solution), the volume of the sample is calculated using the principle of buoyancy, and its density value is accurately obtained.
Applications
Rubber, Plastic, Wire and cable, Oil bearing, Composites, Cosmetics, Shoe Material, Glass, Precious Metal Hardware Recycling, Powder Metallurgy Material, Magnetic Material
Standards
GB/T533、ISO2781、ASTMD297-93、DIN 53479、ASTMD792、D618、D891、ISO1183、GB/T1033、ASTM D792-00、JISK6530
Steps
1. Place the Density Meter on a stable table and turn it on to warm up.
2. Use the touch screen to set the necessary parameters (such as liquid density, etc.).
3. Place the sample on a weighing table in the air and record the weight in the air after stabilization.
4. The sample is completely immersed in the beaker containing the impregnation liquid, and ensure that no bubbles adhere, and record the weight of the water after stabilization.
5. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the density, volume and other results of the sample.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed in a stable and vibration-free environment before use.
• Make sure that the sample is completely immersed and the surface is free of bubbles during measurement, otherwise it will affect the Measurement accuracy.
• Select the appropriate impregnation solution according to the characteristics of the sample and replace it regularly to maintain cleanliness.
• Avoid use in environments with strong magnetic fields, strong airflow or severe temperature fluctuations.
Do not exceed the maximum weighing range of the instrument (1200g).
• Regularly calibrate and maintain instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
