LICHEN XFMD-3205S touch screen solid-liquid dual-use Density Meter is a precision measuring instrument designed based on the Archimedes principle, suitable for the determination of solid and liquid density. For solids, it can accurately measure the density of rubber, plastic, Wire and cable, food, composite and other materials according to the principle of water displacement method, and directly read the value. For liquids, it adopts the principle of buoyancy method, which is suitable for the measurement of the density of various forms of liquids such as chemical solutions, additives, suspensions, emulsions, and pharmaceuticals.

Principle
Solid density measurement is based on Archimedes' water displacement method, which calculates the density of a sample by measuring the difference in weight between air and water. Liquid density measurement is based on Archimedes' buoyancy method, which calculates the liquid density by measuring the buoyancy change of a known volume of floating hammer in the liquid to be measured.
