Overview
XFMD-2201K touch screen gold purity tester is a precision instrument designed based on the principle of Archimedes water replacement method, which is used for the purity measurement of precious metals such as gold. The instrument is suitable for jewelry industry, bank, pawn shop industry and gold and precious metals research laboratory, and conforms to the national GB/T1423 specification for the determination of purity of precious metals.
Features
1. Adopt touch screen operation, the interface is intuitive.
2. Based on the principle of aquimi's water displacement method, the measurement is accurate.
3. Comply with a number of international and national standards, such as GB/T533, ISO2781, ASTMD297-93, etc.
4. Wide weighing range (0.001~ 220g), high density accuracy (0.0001g/cm ³).
Principle
The instrument uses the principle of aquimide's water displacement method. By measuring the weight difference of the sample neutralized in air in water, combined with the density of water, the volume of the sample is calculated, and then the density of the sample is obtained according to the ratio of mass to volume, so as to evaluate the purity of precious metals such as gold.
Applications
Jewelry, banking, pawnshops, gold and precious metals research laboratories
Standards
GB/T533、ISO2781、ASTMD297-93、DIN 53479、ASTMD792、D618、D891、ISO1183、GB/T1033、ASTM D792-00、JISK6530、GB/T1423
Steps
1. Prepare the instrument and turn it on.
2. The sample is weighed in air and the mass is recorded.
3. Immerse the sample completely in water (make sure there are no bubbles), weigh and record.
4. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the density value according to the two weighing results.
5. Evaluate or convert the sample purity according to the density value.
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the sample is clean and drying before immersion in water.
• When immersed in water, ensure that the sample is completely submerged and free of bubbles.
• Use pure water or liquids of known density that meet the requirements of the standard.
• The operating environment should be stable to avoid vibration and airflow interference.
• Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
