Overview
LC-MAG-MS18 Digital Magnetic Stirrer is a laboratory instrument for liquid mixing, mainly used to stir low viscosity liquid or solid-liquid mixtures. It uses a magnetic field to push a magnetic stirrer placed in a container to rotate in a circle to achieve the purpose of stirring liquids.
Features
1. Equipped with the latest mixing technology, suitable for unmanned operation.
2. It can automatically identify the agitator's escape and automatically recapture it.
3. Nano ceramic disc, disc, square disc, size optional.
4. Backlit LCD LCD display for easy reading.
5. Adopt fuzzy logic control and microprocessing foundation to ensure control accuracy.
6. Multiple operation modes ensure that the mixing function does not change due to external factors.
7. With safe temperature control, it can achieve unmanned operation.
8. External PT100 temperature sensor can be used.
9. After the experiment, the thermal warning screen shows the residual temperature of the heating plate.
10. Connect to PC via RS232 interface.
11. With two independent safety circuits, independent temperature sensor detection, hearth temperature can be set.
Principle
Magnetic Stirrer uses the same-sex repulsion and opposite-sex attraction principle of the magnetic field to push the magnetic stirrer placed in the container to rotate in a circle through the swirl/spin magnetic field generated by the instrument, so as to achieve the purpose of stirring the liquid.
Applications
Laboratory liquid mixing, solid-liquid mixture stirring
Standards
DIN EN 60529 IP 42
Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable table and connect it to the power supply.
2. Place the container containing the liquid to be stirred in the center of the work plate.
3. According to the size of the container and the viscosity of the liquid, choose the appropriate magnetic stirrer to put into the container.
4. Turn on the power switch.
5. Set the required agitation Rotation speed (100-1600rpm) through the control panel.
6. Start the stirring function and observe whether the stirrer is running smoothly.
7. After stirring, turn off the power and remove the stirrer and container.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is used at the allowable Ambient Temperature (5-40 ° C) and relative humidity (80%).
• Do not exceed Max. stirring Capacity 20L.
• Please use a stirrer with a length of no more than 80mm.
• Ensure that the surface of the working disc (nano-ceramic surface) is clean, flat, and free of debris.
• When the instrument is running, do not touch the swirl/spin parts or the center area of the work plate with your hands.
Before moving or cleaning the instrument, be sure to disconnect the power supply.
• Do not splash liquids into the inside of the instrument.
• If you need to connect a PC or use an external Sensor, please follow the instructions correctly.
• After the experiment, pay attention to the residual temperature of the heating plate displayed on the thermal warning screen to avoid burns.
