Overview
The LICHEN ZF-5 portable UV analyzer is an instrument composed of a quartz Glass UV tube and filter, which can provide two sets of UV light sources with wavelengths of 254nm and 365nm, respectively. The instrument is lightweight in design, and the two Illuminants can be used alone or mixed at the same time. It is suitable for experimental scenarios that require UV observation.
Features
1. It is composed of ultraviolet lamps and filters.
It can emit two sets of Illuminants with wavelengths of 254nm and 365nm at the same time, or it can mix two wavelengths at one time.
3. With lighting point array, for the chromatography plate point-like positioning lighting.
Principle
The instrument emits ultraviolet light through a quartz Glass ultraviolet lamp. The ray of light is filtered through specific wavelength filters (254nm and 365nm) to provide a pure ultraviolet light source. Users can choose single wavelength or mixed wavelength ultraviolet light for irradiation observation according to experimental needs.
Applications
Location and experimental observation of chromatographic plate point sample
Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable bench.
2. Connect the power supply and turn on the power switch of the instrument.
3. According to the experimental requirements, choose a single wavelength of 254nm, 365nm or a UV light source with two wavelengths turned on simultaneously.
4. The sample to be observed (such as chromatography plate) is placed under ultraviolet light for observation or point-like positioning.
5. After use, turn off the power switch and disconnect the power connection.
Notice
• Do not look directly at the ultraviolet light source to avoid damage to the eyes. It is recommended to wear protective Glasses during operation.
• The instrument should be placed in a stable, drying and well-ventilated environment.
• Do not use this instrument near flammable and explosive items.
• Turn off the power supply in time after use.
• Be sure to disconnect the power supply before cleaning the instrument and wipe it with a drying soft cloth.
• Non-professionals should not disassemble or repair the instrument by themselves.
