Overview
Colony counter (model: XK97-A) is a digital display type semi-automatic bacterial inspection instrument, which consists of a counter, a probe pen, a counting pool and other parts. The product can reduce the labor intensity of experimental personnel, improve work efficiency and work mass. It is required by health and epidemic prevention stations, environment monitoring stations, food supervision and inspection stations, biological products institutes, drug inspection institutes, food factories, daily chemical plants and laboratories of Universities & colleges and R & D institutions at all levels.
Features
1. LED digital tube displays the number of colonies, which is clear and intuitive.
2. The counter is designed and manufactured using CMOS integrated circuits.
3. In the black depth background counting pool, the energy-saving ring fluorescent lamp side-shot illumination, the luminance is uniform and not dazzling, and the colony contrast is clear.
4. Grid-shaped counting disc, easy to observe, leak-proof sealing ring, good sealing performance.
5. The counting pen has refill and press counting function, which is convenient for scribbling the counted colonies and easily writing the number of colonies.
Principle
The Colony counter adopts culture dish bottom counting pen point counting method. During operation, the culture dish is placed in the counting pool with a black deep background, and the colony is clearly visible through side-shot illumination. Use the counting pen point to press the colony for counting, and each press signal is received by the counter, and the accumulated quantity is displayed on the LED digital tube to realize semi-automatic counting.
Applications
Bacterial inspection in food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, biological products, hygiene products, drinking water, industrial wastewater, and clinical specimens
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria.
Steps
Connect the power supply (AC220V/50Hz or DC12V).
2. Put the culture dish to be tested on the grid-shaped counting plate of the counting pool.
3. Turn on the side-illumination Illuminant so that the colony is clearly visible.
4. Use the counting pen to point and press the colonies at the bottom of the culture dish for counting, and the counter is accumulated once per point.
5. During the counting process, the counted colonies can be marked with the refill of the counting pen.
6. After counting, read the Total Bacterial Count from the LED digital tube.
Notice
• Power supply voltage meets requirements (AC220V/50Hz or DC12V).
• Please gently point when using the counting pen to avoid damaging the culture dish.
• Keep the counting pool clean to prevent contamination of samples.
The instrument should be placed on a stable working surface for use.
• Non-professionals should not disassemble the instrument.
