Overview
LEEB U912 Portable Leeb hardness tester is a Portable Hardness tester with full Chinese display and menu operation. It can directly display Richter, Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers, Shaw and other Hardness values. It has the characteristics of small, portable and high Reliability. It can adapt to harsh operating environments and is resistant to vibration, Impact and electromagnetic interference.
Features
1. According to the Richter Hardness Measurement principle, the Richter HL measurement interface is displayed when turned on, which can perform High Accuracy detection on a variety of metal materials.
2. Support "forged steel (Steel) " material, and the HB value can be directly read when testing with D/DC type Impact device, without manual table checking.
3. Easy to switch to all Hardness formats (HL, HB, HRB, HRC, HV, HS), and can convert each Hardness measurement value in parallel.
4. Graphical point matrix LCD screen, rich and intuitive information, and equipped with bright LED backlight, easy to use in the gray ray of light environment.
5. One mainframe can be equipped with 5 different Impact devices (D, G, C, DL, DC) to automatically identify the type of Impact device, and there is no need to re-calibrate when replacing.
6. It can store up to 600 sets of Hardness measurement data, each set of data contains information such as single Measured value, average value, measurement date, Impact direction, number of times, material, Hardness system, etc.
7. The upper and lower limits of Hardness values can be preset, and the range is automatically alarmed to facilitate batch testing.
8. Powered by 2 alkaline batteries, with power-saving functions such as automatic shutdown, and the LCD screen has a remaining power indicator icon.

Principle
The instrument works according to the Richter Hardness Measurement principle. After booting, it directly enters the Richter HL measurement interface, applies Impact to the tested material through the Impact device, and measures the ratio of Impact body rebound speed to Impact speed, and then converts and directly displays Richter, Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers, Shaw and other Hardness values through the built-in program.

Steps
1. When turned on, the instrument displays the HL measurement interface on the Richter scale.
2. Select or confirm the type of Impact device (the instrument can be automatically identified).
3. Set the type of material to be tested and the required Hardness standard.
4. Impact device is pressed vertically on the surface of the workpiece to trigger measurement.
5. Read or store the displayed Hardness Measured value and related data.
6. Data query, upper and lower limit alarm settings or indication software calibration can be performed through the menu.
Notice
• This instrument is suitable for steel and cast steel, alloy tool steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast aluminum alloy, copper zinc alloy (brass), copper tin alloy (bronze), pure copper, forged steel and other materials.
• When used for product Hardness testing in mass production processes, the general standard set can meet the requirements.
• Hardness testing for heat-treated parts such as annealing, tempering, and quenching should pay attention to the thickness of the hardened layer; if the hardened layer is too thin, a C-type Impact device should be selected.
• When testing bearing Hardness, pay attention to its diameter. If the diameter is too small, choose a special-shaped support ring.
• When testing gear Hardness, if the gear is too small, choose DL Impact device.
When inspecting castings, if the surface finish is difficult, choose a G-type Impact device.
• Please pay attention to the power indicator icon in time to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
