Overview
LEEB U917 Portable Leeb hardness tester is a Hardness measuring instrument that integrates built-in Printer, tolerance limit setting and other functions. It adopts full Chinese menu operation, which can directly display various Hardness values such as Richter, Brinell, Rockwell, etc. It has the characteristics of small and portable, high Reliability, and resistance to harsh environments.
Features
1. According to the Richter Hardness Measurement principle, a variety of metal materials can be tested for High Accuracy.
2. Support "forged steel" materials, and the HB value can be directly read when testing with D/DC type Impact device, no need to look up the table.
3. Easy to switch to all Hardness formats (HL, HB, HRB, HRC, HV, HS, HRA), and convert each Hardness value in parallel.
4. Full Chinese menu operation, simple and convenient, equipped with bright LED backlight.
5. One main unit can automatically identify and be equipped with 5 different Impact devices, and there is no need to re-calibrate when replacing.
6. Hardness measurement data can be stored up to 600 groups, and the data information is complete.
7. The upper and lower limits of Hardness values can be preset, and the range will be automatically alarmed.
8. It is designed with lithium battery, with long service life and power-saving functions such as charging prompt and automatic shutdown.
9. Adjustment of indication software.
10. Built-in thermal printer, supports on-site instant printing or optional printing to store data.
Principle
The instrument works according to the Richter Hardness Measurement principle. When turned on, the Richter HL measurement interface is displayed. Impact is applied to the surface of the metal material through the Impact device, and the ratio of the rebound speed of the Impact body to the Impact speed is measured, and then the Richter Hardness value is calculated. It can be converted into the values of Miscellaneous Hardness standards such as Brinell and Rockwell according to the built-in algorithm.
Applications
Failure analysis of installed machinery or permanent assembly parts, mold cavities, heavy workpieces, Pressure Vessels and turbo-generators and their equipment, workpieces with small measurement space, bearings and other parts, material differentiation of metal material warehouses, Large workpieces Quick inspection of multiple measurement parts in a wide range
Steps
1. When turned on, the instrument displays the HL measurement interface on the Richter scale.
2. Select or confirm the type of material to be tested.
3. Impact device perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece to be measured for measurement.
4. Read or toggle to view the required Hardness standard value (e.g. HL, HB, HRC, etc.).
5. For storage, measurement data will be saved automatically.
6. If you need to print, you can instantly print the current data or select the historical data through the built-in thermal printer.
Notice
• This instrument is suitable for steel and cast steel, alloy tool steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast aluminum alloy, copper zinc alloy (brass), copper tin alloy (bronze), pure copper, forged steel and other materials.
• When used for product Hardness testing in mass production processes, the general standard can meet the requirements.
• When testing the Hardness of heat-treated workpieces (such as annealing, tempering, quenching), if there is a hardened layer, pay attention to its thickness; when the hardened layer is too thin, it is recommended to use a C-type Impact device.
• When testing bearing Hardness, pay attention to its diameter. If the diameter is too small, use a special-shaped support ring.
• When testing gear Hardness, select the DL Impact device if the gear is too small.
When testing castings, if the surface finish treatment is difficult, it is recommended to use a G-type Impact device.
• Optional accessories include various special-shaped support rings, Impact devices, standard Hardness blocks, printing paper, users can choose according to specific needs.
