The instrument works based on the principle of ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD). The instrument generates high-frequency electrical pulses, which drive the Probe (transducer) to emit ultrasonic waves into the workpiece to be inspected. When ultrasonic waves propagate inside the material and encounter defects (such as crazing, pores) or interfaces, reflection occurs. The instrument receives these echo signals, and after amplification and processing, they are displayed as A-scan waveforms on the screen. By analyzing the position, amplitude and other information of the echo, the depth, horizontal distance, equivalent size and other parameters of the defect can be automatically calculated and displayed, so as to realize the positioning, Basis Weight and evaluation of the defect.

Flaw detection: Couple the Probe to the surface of the workpiece for scanning, and observe the A-scan waveform on the screen. The instrument will automatically display the location of the defect echo (depth, level, equivalent, etc.) and can alarm according to the set gate. 6. Recording and evaluation: Use peak memory, waveform storage and other functions to record defective waveforms, and use DAC/AVG Linear dispersion for evaluation if necessary. 7. Generate a report: After the flaw inspection is completed, the data can be exported by connecting with the computer to generate a flaw inspection report in Excel format.
