Overview
OSP-84 L470 φ 10 coating rod is a formed production coating rod of the D-Bar series under the Japanese OSP brand. It is designed to replace the traditional steel wire coating bar, which is used to precisely adjust (scrape) the amount of liquid when Spreader liquid on the surface of the substrate to achieve uniform Spreader. The minimum controllable wet film thickness can reach 1.5μm, suitable for ultra-thin Spreaders.
Features
1. Replace the traditional steel wire coating bar to solve the problem of loose steel wire and broken wire.
2. Easy to clean, not easy to clog.
3. The surface shape can be changed freely, providing high flexibility.
4. The groove bottom design is wider than the traditional steel wire coating bar, which usually provides greater Coating Weight.
5. Made of 304 stainless steel, with chrome plating on the surface for good durability.
6. Specification length supports customization.
Principle
Spreader liquid on the surface of the substrate, by using a D-Bar coating rod to scrape across the liquid surface, its precisely designed groove structure is used to precisely control and scrape off excess liquid, leaving a uniform wet-film of the desired thickness on the substrate.
Applications
Film: LCD film, X-ray film, Encasement film, etc., Glass: Automotive Glass, LCD Glass, Construction Glass, etc., Paper: Newspaper, Light, Wallpaper, Special Paper, etc., Encasement Material: Carton, Tape, Encasement Paper, etc., Tape: Video Tape, etc., Magnetic Card: Ticket, Recharge Card, etc
Steps
1. Spreader liquid on the substrate surface.
2. Scrape the surface of the liquid with a D-Bar coating rod to adjust (scrape off) the amount of excess liquid.
Notice
• The specific specification and length can be customized, please consult customer service for details.
• Before use, please confirm whether the coating rod specifications (such as wet film thickness, effective application width, etc.) meet the process requirements.
