Overview
The SAFETAK GC90S-H2S (1000ppm) Single-point Wall-Mounted Gas Monitor Alarm is a device for detecting hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas in non-explosion-proof environments. It is powered directly from a 220V AC power supply, features corrosion resistant die-cast aluminum housing, IP66 high Protection Rating, and features a password-locked maintenance menu and optional relay signal output.

Principle
The alarm uses the principle of electrochemistry to detect toxic gases (here H2S), and detects the gas concentration in the environment through continuous sampling of the Sensor. When the concentration reaches the preset low alarm point (50ppm) or high alarm point (300ppm), the device will trigger sound and light alarms and output corresponding control signals.

Petroleum, petrochemical, metallurgical and other industrial sites of non-explosion-proof places, gas stations, boiler rooms, laboratories, Food processing and other sites and office environments.

Steps
1. Install the equipment at the target monitoring location.
2. Connect the 220V AC power supply to power the device.
3. After the equipment is powered on, it enters a continuous detection state.
4. Parameter settings can be made through the maintenance menu (password required).
5. For linkage control, an optional relay signal output can be connected to the Miscellaneous equipment.

• When installing and maintaining, please be careful to enter the correct password to prevent misoperation.
• Please ensure that the working Ambient Temperature is between -20~ 50 ℃, Humidity ≤ 95% RH and no condensation.
• Regularly check Sensor status to ensure detection accuracy.
When connecting the external control device, please confirm the signal output type (such as 4-20mA or switch quantity) and load capacity (relay signal is 220V 3A).
