Overview
The HBF-1200 Microplate Heat Sealer is an economical semi-automatic heat sealing machine used to heat seal various special heat sealing membranes to prevent microplates (such as PCR plates, deep well plates, enzyme label plates and cell foster plates) from evaporation, leakage caused by sample loss and cross-contamination during the detection process. It is compact in design, easy to install, no compressed air is required, rapid heating and automatic detection of microplate height. It is a significant other of PCR and Basis Weight PCR.

Principle
The instrument adopts the principle of electric heating tube heating, and by accurately controlling the heat sealing temperature (RT + 80~ 200 ℃) and sealing time (0.5s~ 9.9s), the special heat sealing film placed on the microporous plate is heated and pressurized to achieve firm and uniform sealing, thereby preventing sample evaporation, leakage and cross-contamination.

Steps
1. Turn on the power supply and turn on the instrument.
2. According to the type of microplate and heat sealing film used, set the appropriate sealing plate temperature and sealing time through the instrument panel.
3. Put the microplate with the heat sealing film into the working area of the instrument.
4. Close the entry and exit doors, and the instrument will automatically detect the height of the microplate and begin the heat sealing process.
5. After the heat sealing is completed, open the hatch and remove the sealed microplate.
Notice
• Do not put your hands or Miscellaneous objects into and out of the cabin door while the instrument is working. Although the smart motor has the function of reversing in case of resistance, it is still necessary to pay attention to safety.
• When cleaning or maintaining the heating board, the entry and exit doors can be separated from the instrument.
• When the instrument is not used for a long time, it will automatically enter standby or deep sleep mode to save energy. Press any button to wake up when using it again.
• Please ensure that the type of heat sealing film used is compatible with the instrument and microplate.
• When setting the sealing plate temperature and time, please refer to the relevant instructions of the heat sealing film and the microporous plate to achieve the best sealing effect.
