Overview
DECO agate ball grinding tank (model: DECO-SIO-V-0.1L) is a grinding container made of Brazilian first-class agate material, the main ingredient is SiO2, and the purity is 98.50%. The product has the characteristics of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, high and low temperature resistance, suitable for dry grinding and wet grinding methods, the maximum volume is 0.1L. It adopts vertical structure and has sealing performance.

Principle
The agate ball mill tank is a grinding container used for sample preparation in the planetary Ball mill. When working, the sample is put into the tank together with the agate grinding ball. The Ball mill drives the ball mill tank to swirl/spin at high speed, so that the grinding ball and the sample continue to rub and collide in the tank. This process generates intense mechanical energy to achieve homogenization, crushing and mixing of the sample to achieve the purpose of grinding required by the experiment.

Steps
1. According to the grinding requirements (dry grinding or wet grinding), put an appropriate amount of samples and agate grinding balls (size 5-30mm) into the agate ball grinding tank.
2. Ensure that the lid is tightly sealed to prevent sample leakage.
3. Install the ball mill tank with the sample correctly on the planetary ball mill.
4. Set the operating parameters such as Rotation speed and time required by the Ball mill.
5. Start the Ball mill and start the grinding process.
6. After grinding, close the Ball mill and take out the ball mill tank.
7. Carefully open the lid and remove the ground sample for subsequent processing or analysis.
Notice
• Before use, please check whether the ball mill tank and lid are crazing or damaged to ensure that they are intact and nondestructive.
• The total volume of the loaded sample and grinding ball should not exceed the maximum volume of the ball mill tank (0.1L).
• Please ensure that the sealing of the can lid is in place during operation to prevent the material from escaping during the grinding process.
• Temperature range of this product is 0-80 ℃, please do not use it in an over-temperature environment.
• Please select the appropriate grinding ball size (5-30mm) and grinding method (dry grinding/wet grinding) according to the nature of the sample.
• Please use a mild detergent when cleaning and avoid using sharp tools to scrape the inner wall.
• The material of the product is agate, although the Hardness is high, it is still necessary to avoid violent impact to prevent damage.
