Overview
The FP6450 Flame photometer is a five-channel analytical instrument of JINGQI brand, which can simultaneously detect five elements of potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium and barium. The instrument adopts LED LCD screen display, has the function of concentration direct reading, is easy to operate, and has high Stability. It is suitable for quantitative analysis of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals in various industries.
Features
1. Five-channel design, can simultaneously detect potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium, barium five elements.
2. The concentration of the five elements is directly read, and the results are intuitive.
3. Adopt menu keyboard operation, easy to use.
4. Equipped with automatic calculation function of correlation coefficient.
5. External printer can be connected to facilitate data output.
6. Can be connected to a computer for data management.
7. Flame size can be pre-selected.
8. Equipped with flameout protection devices to enhance safety.
Principle
The FP6450 Flame photometer works based on the principle of atomic emission spectroscopy (AES). After atomization, the sample solution is sprayed into a high-temperature flame. The atoms of the element to be measured are excited by heat, jump to the excited state, and then return to the ground state to emit characteristic spectral lines of specific wavelengths. The instrument separates the characteristic spectral lines of the target element through an Interference filter, and the light intensity is measured by a photoelectric detection system. The light intensity is proportional to the concentration of the element in the sample, so as to achieve quantitative analysis.
Applications
Pottery and porcelain, cement, Glass, soil and fertilizer, clinical, refractory, third-party testing, professional colleges
Steps
1. Turn it on to warm up and check the gas connection.
2. Select the corresponding channels (potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium, barium) according to the elements to be tested.
3. Set the measurement parameters through the keyboard menu and pre-select the flame size.
4. Use a standard solution to calibrate, and the instrument can automatically calculate the correlation coefficient.
5. Inhalation of the sample solution to be tested for measurement, the instrument directly displays the element concentration.
6. After the measurement is completed, you can connect the printer to print the data or connect the computer to export the data.
7. Make sure the flame is extinguished before shutting down, and perform the flameout protection program.
Notice
• The instrument should be placed in a stable, non-strong electromagnetic interference, well-ventilated environment.
Before use, it is necessary to ensure that the gas and auxiliary gas supply are stable and the pipeline is free of leakage.
• Ignition and flameout should strictly follow the operating procedures and pay attention to safety.
• The sample solution needs to be properly pretreated to avoid clogging the Nebulizer.
• Regularly clean the combustion head and atomization system to maintain the best performance of the instrument.
• When not in use for a long time, the residual liquid in the pipeline should be emptied and the gas source should be turned off.
• When calibrating, a standard solution that matches the sample matrix to be tested should be used.
• Pay attention to observe the Stability index of the instrument, and find the reason if it exceeds the range.
Operators should be trained and familiar with instrument performance and operating procedures.
