Overview
WD9202B Portable water quality analyzer is a professional water quality analysis equipment of JINGQI brand. It adopts the separation design of digestion instrument and measuring instrument to effectively ensure the measurement accuracy. The instrument is equipped with a high-performance ultra-low power consumption microcontroller, with long standby time and data power-off protection function. It is suitable for rapid detection of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total phosphorus (TP) content in water quality on site.

Principle
The instrument works based on the Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry principle. After the water sample is digested at a specific temperature and time in the digestion instrument, the substance to be tested reacts with the Reagent to form a colored compound. The cold Illuminant and narrow-band interference Optical inspection system in the measuring instrument emits light of a specific wavelength. By measuring the Absorbance of the colored solution to the light, the concentration value of chemical oxygen demand (COD) or total phosphorus (TP) in the water is calculated according to the built-in standard Linear dispersion.

Steps
1. Prepare the water sample to be tested and the supporting Reagent.
2. Add the water sample and Reagent to the digestion tube and put it into the digestion instrument for digestion.
3. After digestion is complete, remove and chill down to room temperature.
4. Place the digestion tube into the tester sample chamber.
5. Select the corresponding item (such as COD or total phosphorus) on the instrument interface for measurement.
6. Read and record measurement results, data can be exported through USB port.
