Overview
The WD9206B Portable water quality tester is a Portable testing equipment produced by JINGQI for the determination of total phosphorus and total nitrogen content in water samples. The instrument adopts a separate design of digestion instrument and measuring instrument, and is equipped with a high-performance single-chip microcomputer and a stable Optical inspection system. It has the characteristics of convenient operation, large data storage capacity, waterproof and dustproof.
Features
1. The digestion instrument is separated from the measuring instrument, which does not affect the Measurement accuracy. Temperature PID automatic temperature control and timing.
2. Adopting a high-performance ultra-low-power 16-bit microcontroller, the standby time of the instrument can reach more than 6 months.

Principle
The instrument uses the Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry principle for measurement. First, the water sample is digested at a specific temperature and time in the matching digestion instrument to convert the phosphorus and nitrogen compounds in the water into measurable forms. Then, the processed sample is irradiated in the measuring instrument by cold Illuminant and narrow-band interference Optical inspection system to detect its Absorbance or light transmitance. The internal microcontroller of the instrument calculates the concentration of total phosphorus or total nitrogen in the sample according to the preset standard Linear dispersion.

Steps
1. Prepare the water sample to be tested.
2. According to the measurement item (total phosphorus or total nitrogen), use the matching digestion instrument to digest the water sample, and the instrument automatically controls the temperature and timing.
3. After the digestion is completed, place the processed sample into the measuring instrument.
4. Select the corresponding standard Linear dispersion or measurement program on the meter.
5. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically reads the absorption value or light transmitance and calculates the concentration.
6. The measurement results can be saved inside the instrument, or exported and printed by connecting to the computer through the USB port.
Notice
• Please use the digester and tester in strict accordance with the operating procedures.
• Make sure to use the correct standard Linear dispersion before measurement.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• Note that the digestion conditions (temperature, time) of the sample must meet the requirements.
• Although the instrument has IP65 Protection Rating, it is still necessary to avoid long-term immersion or extreme environment use.
When connecting a computer to transfer data, make sure to use compatible software and data cables.
