Overview
JM-V type film Wear meter is manufactured with reference to GB/T1768-2006 film wear resistance performance test parameters, and at the same time takes into account the test parameters of GB/T17657 on wood wear resistance performance, providing a multi-purpose wear resistance performance test method. It is suitable for laboratory testing the wear resistance performance of various coatings, such as deck paint, floor paint, road paint, etc.; it can also be used for paper, plastic, Spinning & weaving products, decorative panels, etc. The instrument adopts stepper motor drive, programmable control, and the working parameters and status are displayed by LCD screen. It is easy to operate, reliable in performance, and flexible and convenient to use.

Principle
The wear meter brings two abrasion abrasive wheels at a predetermined distance into contact with the specimen template mounted on the horizontal turntable, and makes the central axis of the two abrasive wheels not in the same plane as the central axis of the turntable. When the turntable swirl/spin, the left abrasive wheels generate friction from the outside to the center of the sample surface, and the right abrasive wheels generate friction from the center of the sample surface to the outside, forming a series of mesh-shaped intersecting circular friction marks on the sample surface. This arrangement makes the sample surface subject to friction in all directions, avoiding the directional defect of one-way wear meter friction, and making the abrasion evaluation more objective.

Steps
1. Install the specimen on the horizontal turntable
2. Adjust the contact position between abrasion abrasive wheels and the sample
3. Choose the appropriate load weight as needed
4. Set the speed parameters of abrasive wheels by programming
5. Start the instrument for abrasion test
6. Observe the working parameters and status displayed on the LCD screen

• If the user has special abrasive wheels speed requirements, it can be proposed when ordering, and the programming parameters can be modified to meet the requirements
• For different test sample requirements, abrasive wheels of corresponding materials should be selected
• Make sure the abrasive wheels are equilibrated before use, which can be adjusted with the matching equilibrating weight
• Load weight Identifies the weight as the actual value of gravity applied to the surface of the specimen
• Turntable speed should be kept within the specified range (60/70 +/- 2/min)
