Overview
The film scratch test instrument is a special equipment for SHIBO brand QHZ model. It is used to characterize the physical properties of coating strength, hardness and adhesion by the size of the anti-penetration ability of film sample coatings when scratched by the scratch. The instrument is developed to implement the GB9279-88 standard and is an important tool for evaluating the performance of coatings.
Features
1. Scribing frame and table design to ensure that the scribing needle acts vertically on the film template
2. The worktable can be moved horizontally or manually, and vertically manually
3. Load range 0~ 2000g, minimum increment 50g, can accurately test the film scratch resistance under different weights
4. Scribing steel ball diameter 1mm, traverse speed 20~ 40mm/s, constant speed
5. Power frequency 220V 50HZ, motor power 15W, stable and reliable operation
Principle
The instrument consists of a scribing frame and a workbench, and the scribing pin acts perpendicular to the film template fixed on the workbench. After the power is turned on, the workbench moves from right to left, and the scribing pin touches the template in the experimental Travel; in the return Travel, the workbench moves from left to right, and the scribing pin is lifted without touching the template. By changing the Nominal Mass, the minimum weight required to scratch the film is measured to judge the scratch resistance of the film.
Applications
Coating performance evaluation, film strength testing, film hardness testing, film adhesion testing
Standards
GB/T9279-88、ISO1518-73
Steps
1. GB9271 - 88 preparatory 120 * 50mm film sample
2. Test in an experimental environment with a temperature of 23 +/- 2 ° C and a relative humidity of 50 +/- 5%
3. Turn on the power, the red indicator light is on to indicate that the power is turned on.
4. Dial the return switch to the "experimental" state, and move the workbench from right to left
5. Change the Nominal Mass on the scribing frame to test whether the film can be scratched under different weights
6. Record Minimum Nominal Mass Required to Scratch Film
7. After the test is completed, dial the return switch back to the "return" state
Notice
• The film sample must be prepared according to GB9271-88 standard
• The experimental environment should be strictly controlled as temperature 23 +/- 2 ° C, relative humidity 50 +/- 5%
• The worktable can be moved laterally and operated manually after the power is turned off
• The traverse speed of the scribing needle is a constant speed and cannot be adjusted
• Return to Travel Scribing needle is lifted without touching the sample
• Power frequency is 220V 50HZ before use
