Overview
The CHNSPEC CS-392 Tri-Angle Colorimeter is a Handheld Multi-Angle Color measuring instrument developed for the automotive paint industry to measure the Reflection spectrum and Color data of effect finishes at different viewing angles and conditions. The instrument also features particle Color measurement to detect the characteristics of coated aluminium foils. It uses a long-life LED Illuminant and does not need to be replaced for ten years. It is suitable for comprehensive Color evaluation of finishes with particle effect.

Principle
The instrument adopts LED Illuminant illumination, through 45 ° illumination and 15 °, 45 °, 110 ° three-angle measurement Color data, combined with integrating sphere diffusion method to measure particle angle. Using high-resolution CMOS Sensor under simulated direct sunlight and diffuse lighting conditions, Reflection spectrum is analyzed to obtain Color parameters and particle grade data.
