Overview
The IWAVE WF30 series color reader includes three models: WF30-4mm, WF30-8mm and WF30-16mm, which correspond to the measurement diameters of 4mm, 8mm and 16mm respectively, to meet the testing needs of products in different areas. The series of instruments are excited by LED blue light and have the characteristics of automatic induction, fast measurement (0.5 seconds) and high accuracy. The WF30-8mm is a general-purpose caliber. The instrument adopts a plastic shell for easy operation.

Principle
The IWAVE WF30 color reader uses 8/d illumination mode, using LED as the Available Light Sources, to capture the reflected light on the surface of the object through the Sensor (photodiode array). The instrument completes the measurement in 0.5 seconds, calculates the chromatic value of the sample (e.g. CIELAB, CIELCH), and performs color difference analysis through built-in algorithms, supporting SCI and SCE light-containing modes.

Steps
1. Boot up: The instrument automatically performs built-in whiteboard correction.
2. Select measurement mode and parameters: Select measurement aperture, Color space, color difference formula and Illuminant as needed.
3. Positioning measurement: align the instrument measurement port with the surface of the sample to be tested.
4, measurement: trigger measurement, read and view the chromatic value or color difference value displayed on the screen after about 0.5 seconds.
5. Data management: master standard and sample data can be stored through the instrument, or data can be exported through USB2.0 or RS-232 interface.
Notice
• Please ensure that the operating Ambient Temperature 0 ℃ -40 ℃, relative humidity below 85% and no condensation conditions.
• Instrument Storage Ambient Temperature -20 ℃ -50 ℃.
• When measuring, please ensure that the measurement port fits well with the surface of the sample to avoid light leakage affecting the accuracy of the data.
• The instrument has a built-in whiteboard, no manual correction is required, but do not contaminate the measurement port and internal Optical inspection components.
• Please use the original Power Adapter for charging to ensure battery life and safe use.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to bright light or extreme environments.
