Overview
The TEELEN TL-2900A Polarizing Microscope utilizes the principle of polarized light generated by reflection, refraction, birefringence or scattering of light to obtain comfortable light intensity and improve object and background contrast through two mutually swirl/spin polarizing filters. The instrument is designed with an infinity Optical inspection system and Modular function, and is equipped with a stress-free long working distance flat field objective, which is suitable for a variety of polarized light observation applications.
Features
1. Optical inspection system and Modular function design
2. Configure a stress-free long working distance flat-field objective
3. Wide-angle flat-field eyepiece: field of view diameter < 18mm
4. Coarse fretting coaxial focusing mechanism, coarse elastic adjustable, with limit locking device, fretting grid value: 2μm
5. Polarizing observation device can be moved in or out of the optical path, both polarizer and detector can be 360 ° swirl/spin
6. Swirl/spin stage, 360 ° Graduation, vernier grid value 6 ', adjustable center, with locking device, table vertical effective Travel up to 35mm
7. Wide voltage power supply (220V 50/60Hz). 6V20W halogen lamp lighting, adjustable luminance
8. The three-eyeliner barrel can freely switch between visual observation and microphotography, and can be 100% transparent during photography, suitable for low-light microscopic image shooting
Principle
Based on the principle of light reflection, refraction, birefringence or scattering to produce polarized light, the polarizer and the detector of mutual swirl/spin are added to the Optical inspection system, and the light intensity is changed by adjusting the polarization state, thereby improving the contrast between the object and the background.
Applications
Materials science, geology, biology, chemistry, medicine, industrial testing
Steps
1. Turn on the power and adjust the lighting luminance
2. Place the sample on the stage and secure it
3. Preliminary focusing by coarse fretting coaxial focusing mechanism
4. Rotate the stage to adjust the sample position
5. Move into the polarizing viewing device and swirl/spin the polarizer and detector to the desired angle
6. Use fretting to fine-tune image clarity
7. Switch the visual observation or microphotography mode through the three-eyed lens barrel
8. Turn off the power and clean the equipment after the observation is completed
Notice
• Power frequency meets wide voltage requirements (220V 50/60Hz) before use
• Pay attention to the limit device of the coarse fretting mechanism when focusing to avoid excessive adjustment
• When rotating the stage and polarizing device, the action should be gentle to prevent damage to precision components
• Optical inspection components are kept clean to avoid dust affecting the observation effect
• Make sure the three-eyeliner barrel is switched correctly when shooting to ensure 100% light
• Regularly check the working status of halogen lamps or LED lamps and replace them in time
When storing, the polarizer should be removed from the light path and the stage should be locked tightly
